Slit,?Since my notes on the above case were in print I have received a letter from the patient informing me that on the second day of his fever?9th September?after a long bicycle ride he poured four or five buckets of cold water over himself while very hot. This may have supplied the exciting cause, though one would have expected hematuria rather than hemoglobinuria after such an act of folly. I am, &c.,
